Thanks for noting the detail that you did. I just checked my profile and note that it has the same chain link. My profile also has a purple SPG logo next to it and I've confirmed that the SPG no. is correct. My explicit level of SPG status (Plat) is not noted. I'm guessing that the "link" is good as long as your number is OK and the chain link is showing. Sorry I can't confirm beyond that if the correct status level will be recognized and that appropriate benefits are extended.
I can say that the Crossover Rewards program has worked as promised up to this point for me. I'm very happy with it. But......that won't help you if you have some agent that wants to ignore what your bennies are. I'd document what I could if I were you and ask for supervisory help if the front line is non-helpful.
