The only way having the *A logo on the top of the ticket is useful is if the agent chooses not to scan the ticket in which case yes you may get lucky and get in.
If the agent chooses to scan the ticket (even if it has a *A logo) but it's on a non-*A carrier the computer will reject it. What's physically printed on the ticket is irrelevant to the computer if scanned.
