Following up now that I have been here a few days, I have a few additions...
The Good:
* Staff continues to be friendly.
* The in room Internet speeds are acceptable for my usage (and free for Platinum).
* Breakfast is decent, though if not included in the rate it might be a bit pricy for what you get.
* Housekeeping is good.
* The water pressure is great, and no shortage of hot water.
* The location is great! Lots of restaurants, shops, and the museum complex are all within an easy walk.
The Meh:
* There are no channels on the TV I am interested in, except sometimes BBC World news.
* The stereo is of good quality if you want to play disks or MP3 files. But there is NO reception on the radio side.
The not so good:
* There is only one iron for the entire hotel. Lots of luck actually getting access to it, so if you are a stickler for tight creases, you will be out of luck.
* There aren't enough power outlets. In particular, to use my computer at the desk without draining the battery, I have to unplug the aforementioned stereo.
Overall value:
Given the rates compared to other local properties, I would rate this hotel as a Good to Excellent value.
