Your wife is also applying for this card, right? I assume you know that under current Federal law both of you can apply for the same card, and for "income" you each can put down your combined total income.
I can't honestly remember where I read about people getting a lower bonus than 100,000, so maybe your thought about those people having used inferior links is right!
Thanks for the suggestion about having my wife apply too. I actually hadn't thought of that
