Tried booking a delta flight with 44k miles says it costs 180k?
I am really confused since I am trying to use my miles and it says it would cost 180,000 miles to go one way to TLV? Am I missing something?

Its my first time and on the Delta site it says it should cost a lot less.

So I have been trying to use my points with Delta, United, AA and Amex for Ages. When I use Delta AA or United I get lost in the wind or the price on their website is always higher than orbitz/expedia... So I never get to use them.

I am trying to book a flight that goes from philly/nyc/dc (doesnt matter start point) to TLV then from TLV to Madrid/lisbon/barcelona

When I check AA they have a partner with Iberia but they want $1,700 while iberia direct is $1,200 then I tried layovers from Frankfurt and I still got nothing.

I figured I would ask for help since I have never used points and have:
20k + $800 gift cards with AA
20k with United
45/50k with Delta
150-200k with Amex

I am not sure how to maximize my amex points the last time I ultimately failed by spending 100k of points and it only got me $1,000 off ouch
