I have been UA Gold for last few years up until 2014. Lost status and starting from scratch with a new job next month. I've studied the plans, redemption etc., and considering a move from UA to AA/US, mainly b/c I do regional travel (NE USA for the most part), and getting pretty tired of RJ 145s, DCs, and Dash 8s...

When I originally started with UA, it was pre merger, and I could also earn on US and CO flights since both were *A partners...now that is gone...
But I don't want to leave for greener grass only to find the mowing is just as bad on the other side of the fence!

What are your thoughts/findings?
