Yeah 4500 avios redemptions are great. I have saved thousands of dollars and sometimes i have had tickets worth $300-350 paid via 4500 avios!
I'd wait to see what they offer. You might get more than 15k.

Whether it's Avios, cash or both you should get more than 6000.
