I just filed a claim through euclaim. I dont expect anything so if i get something that's well a bonus.
I am not happy with the 6000 avios now as everyone else has said its a bit too low and is i guess given for small complains and doesnt justify the fact that we had to wait for almost 4 hours without any proper information.

Those 4500 Avios plus a few dollars redemptions are great, need to make use of them next time I'm in the US. It makes our EU Reward Flight Savers look expensive, even though I also consider them excellent value.
I just mailed them. I m thinking of mailing again and asking for 10-15K more avios or will that be too desperate?
Yeah 4500 avios redemptions are great. I have saved thousands of dollars and sometimes i have had tickets worth $300-350 paid via 4500 avios!
