In any case, as the bookkeeper, I'd just like to let you know that it's fine, and that we get paid for the coupon for the maximum price allowed (the little maximum price disclaimer next to the "write value here" box) as no one at the clearinghouse actually takes the time to read the amount written (or not written) in the box. Also, our (unfortunately internal) revised coupon policy allows for coupon overages as long as it doesn't make the total less than 0 or pays for something that cannot be waived by law (such as bottle deposit or gift card fees)
