I also wasnt escorted in 1st and the check in desk person refused to allow me to use her pen to sign a form! Plus they refused (as in sent back from the gate during all boarding) to let 1st class board until last so we waited for ages for a bus with a great view of the usual mumbai 4 legged hairy wildlife. Then we were crammed on as it was the last bus. They claimed we couldnt board as we had to wait for the special 1st class bus- but that never came then then panicked and herded everyone like rats (luckily the real ones didnt join us) onto an already over full bus.

It was the worst 2 hours i have ever spent in an airport from arrival to getting through the layers of security. Only 1 screening booth for women when most crew were women and 4 for men. I forgave the USA immigration and screening a lot after that trip.
