After I sign out, I see about the same availability. 85k miles gets you First to LAX via HNL on 13th. On the 14th, 35k miles gets you coach to LAX via HNL

Not sure why you can't see them. Are you just looking for non-stops? If so, maybe that's the problem. Why don't you grab an award with a connection, then watch for something you like better?

i tried re-running a 1 way from NRT-LAX but see absolutely no award savers on the united site. I don't mind connections and did not filter to only non-stop flights. Anything that i'm missing on this search?
