Had a stay there last week and was pretty disappointed. Here's a summary of my observations:
Pros:
- New Hotel and facilities are new
- Near the pubs and dining outlets
- Simple and nice breakfast
Cons:
- No recognition for Platinum members
- Service is very lacking:
* Check-in to room to discover that there is no shower gel in the dispenser, strain on bedsheet and an opened bottle of mineral water on table marked which is meant to be complimentary for my stay. Spoke to the room service lady that bottle has been opened and drank a little by someone and she told me that the water is not chargeable. Was shocked by response and I did not pursue matter further.

* Next day, I hang the "Make-Up Room" sign and left for the day. When I was back later in the day, sign was removed and room is actually the same as when I left, no make-up of room nor replenishment of the bottled drinking water or change of towels. Called the room service and she said that my room was not due for cleaning yet, and I said that the sign has been removed from door handle and put back on the rack. She then had to send someone to make-up room.
I have stayed at the Atrium this year and the service is definitely better, though the rooms do show signs of ageing.
