Are you planning on "touring" Switzerland? If so, Zurich has more train options than Geneva--which is at the southwest end of the country.
Zurich is THE major airport for much of that area of Europe = more flights to (nearly) everywhere than Geneva.
You have to give more info to get a more relevant response.
