My wife got this amex MR gold card in Apr 13 for a 25k bonus and the AF is going to hit in May. This is her first amex card. She got the amex bcp in Oct'13 next.

We currently have 3k points in this gold MR account. I don't really see the value in this card for $125 fee as I'd rather put non bonused spend on barclays arrival card.

We take 4-5 trips every year, few days to two weeks, domestic and international; and we have quite a few airline/hotel/cash back cards.

I do want to keep this account so we can maximize amex sync promotions. I read somewhere that the blue card could be a good card to product change into. It will allow us to keep MR points but not transfer them until we get a card with AF.

any other suggestions?
