Odds of F-saver award ORD-SIN?
Hi everyone, I booked a standard award in global first from ORD to SIN early January.

What are the odds that an F saver award might open on this route around Jan 5 or Jan 6? I can also fly from SFO or LAX.

And, in case a saver award does open, here is what I would like to do: (i) cancel the standard award ticket, (ii) redeposit the miles, and (iii) re-issue the ticket at the saver rate. How long does it take to redeposit the miles? Is this instantaneous, or do I have to wait "days," risking to lose the saver award? I just don't think I have enough balance to cover both...
