I think it is blocked now. Have been in GF and CCR over the last few weeks and in both cases when I loaded the facebook app on my ipad it just hung and tried to update but couldn't. Not sure whether it would work if accessed using a browser, may try that next time.
It is blocked. I hesitated whether or not to open a thread about this, but was embarrassed to admit I ... knew people using it prevented me.
This has also been the case in T1 and T3 for atleast 2 weeks now. Staff are oblivious.
