Just talked to a "customer relations manager" regarding my US Airways MC and asked to waive the annual fee. They said that's not an option right now, would you like to hear the benefits that you receive with this card by paying annual fee? I declined, said that if fee can't be waived I'd like to close the account. He confirmed fee couldn't be waived, and "I regret to inform you that we are losing you as a customer..." I guess that was his way of saying, "Your loss."
