It is such a pain on arrival at SFO, ORD or similar international gateways with an immediate connection to Canada, one still has to queue for US CBP passport check, collect the baggage, clear custom and excise, re-check-in ...........

But sometimes I WANT to be able to exit the airport with my luggage when connecting to the USA (for both hidden city and to exit into the city)
