The main checkin area at HEL T2 was built between the domestic terminal now T1 and the old Terminal (approx. gates 26 -30). So if you turn left after entering the building from the bus stops you pass a shop and cafe and arrive at the Flybe and charter checkin desks. These are in the old terminal. Beyond them is another security area, this is seldom busy unless a charter is leaving. It brings you out near passport control and saves you having to negotiate the narrow corridor caused by the shops in the old terminal.
