It's been over 10 years since I have been at the hotel. Do you still have to walk up the stairs to get to the registration desk from the main entrance?
Entering from Monroe street you can either go up the stairs to the lobby or you can continue walking to the rear of that floor and take an elevator or escalator to the lobby.
