Good to see they made plans for those whose final destination was WLG, DUD, and NPE. Pity they could not do the same for you and the other ZQN passengers. They could have sent you via CHC, subject to space, and saved you the overnight in AKL
The weather is pretty bag that day across the whole country, so ZQN was probably effected by weather as well. Also Winter hours are now in place at ZQN, so its likely they would have missed the last CHC-ZQN flight.
