When setting up the router you plug the hotel cable into the router. No issues here. Then log into the network using my laptop, no issue again. My question is when logging into most hotel networks you are required to log into their homepage and use the password provided once every 24 hours. Where/how does that step occur with a travel router.

Seems to me if i have to log in with each device I will be paying for the extra connections.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks
You will not be exempted from re-authenticating every 24 hours, but because all communication with the network is via the router, the authentication from any device appears to be coming from the router itself. The first device to re-authenticate via the router will do so for all devices.

All of the devices behind the router are essentially invisible to the wider network.
