I am unable to find out any information on what the policy is for Standby on LX. I am on a ticket purchased on UAL on LX. Currently, I have an 15hr layover in ZRH before my flight to PRG. I would like to be able to take an earlier flight on LX, but I am being told by UAL that it will be an additional charge to change the ticket. My question is, do I just suck it up and pay the fee, or see if LX will change it free of charge to the next flight if seats are available at ZRH when I arrive? I am a UAL 1K if that will help me any.
