As an aside, I would bet that an HLE manager would say 98% of their problems were Insurance Replacement renters….most leaving 50.00 cash as their deposit or a debit card. Debit Card ASAP renters are usually very tight on cash and that 200 hold is a crusher if it doesn't clear quickly. (Hertz or the Banks can hold for 48 hours after return or even 7 days!)
There is no hold on a Visa Debit Card with Hertz beyond the estimated final charges.
