I am not trying to re-open the debate on benefits for Bronze on BA- I think c-w-s gave stats on here recently and IIRC a fairly average domestic flight had fewer Bronze pax than GGL!
Isn't it consistent in that BA extend OW ruby the same benefits as their own Bronze and AA extend OW ruby the same benefits as their own Gold?
