AA PLT (2MM) here planning to book BA EWR to HYD (787s entire trip!) and can book with either BA flight numbers or AA codeshares. From what I can gather, it makes no difference with regards to miles earned, OW benefits, bonuses, etc. The price is the same either way.

Is there anything I'm missing with regards to booking either BA or AA flight numbers?
