I find the tax/surcharges to be excessive on award tickets and would like the option of moving miles to a different account. I have been told that points.com does trades, but I was not able to see Lufthansa on there.

Any other suggestions? I just think the "value" of the miles compared to something like MileagePlus on UA is not there, given the steep out of pocket $$$. Not to mention a poor search feature for award tickets.
