Sorry guys, missed the replies back in 2011, but just came across this thread again today. The beverage cart was purchased for storage to use in Little Miss Cellisttoo's airplane themed bedroom. I taped all the aluminum & stainless parts with masking tape, and then purchased a base coat spray paint that could be used on plastic. I finished up with several coats of "berry pink" spray paint. This matched the accent wall of her room- which has a silver 767 decal with an 8 foot wingspan. I was able to secure a full set of drawers from Ebay. We have been using it for storage ever since- it holds a TON- like a black hole. I found someone in Israel on Etsy who was able to make a custom airplane themed duvet cover with pink planes. It is unbelievably hard to find airplane bedding that doesn't scream girl.

I would love to get a second one and then put some sort of board/tabletop in between to use as a desk. Either that or a seat back tray.

I have some airplane windows that I keep meaning to make into a light. I will get around to it someday.
