Isn't this the OPs problem rather than something MTA is responsible for. EasyPay works if you follow the rules. If you're going to use a debit mastercard then you'd better make sure autodebits aren't going to be rejected.
For the poster asking about refunds, they will send you a cheque, which will take a while.
