Exit row. For some reason, despite not having status (my husband does) AC often puts me in the exit row on return flights from New York. I guess I have that "selfless - will save everybody" look - despite my age. I am 5' 8" - so lots of leg room. My husband has never had the exit row! I have never asked for it.
