Update: the suitcase got stopped on by a drunken friend while it was sitting on the floor, so now it's really out of shape.

I took it to a Rimowa repair center and they basically say it was unrepairable to original condition. They wrote me a letter to that effect.

Thank goodness for Amex purchase protection. I guess I'll just buy another one; currently looking at getting a Classic Flight instead.
