It is the case that Avios.com has some excellent availability in G class (the group booking class, as a massive generalisation). And indeed they do show up initially as earning TPs and Avios, as many G ticket would, but they then get wiped down. For quite some time there was a bug where Avios.com redemptions did earn TPs and Avios in this scenario, and occasionally there were cryptic references here to that. But that got dealt with a couple of years ago. So in normal circumstances I am fairly sure the OP will get the correct TPs and Avios, which is nil.

It remains the case that if the Avios.com booking is altered at the airport - due to irrops - that there is a good chance of Avios and TP being earned, that's also the case with BAEC redemptions too, but with a lower probability.
