Just make sure that your award search includes partner carriers, so that possible itineraries on AS are included. If you have to drive, check availability out of SMF too: AS flies SMF-OGG.
And it's probably not a good idea to abbreviate California as "Cali" in this forum: AA serves Cali, Colombia.
