I've never had a problem before with family members clearly identified as "additional guests" on my IHG reservations checking in first (and last ), but I'm curious if I should be concerned about an award booking I made for my in-laws in manhattan being handled differently since it's a super pricey market.

Anyone care to comment? Any steps I can take to ensure things go smoothly?
