I recently booked LHR - CDG return RFS at 9000 Avios + GBP 35 at avios.com (not ba.com) because there was wider availability there. Read somewhere that avios.com accesses revenue classes that ba.com doesn't provide readily.

The fare was booked in G class both ways.

When I first booked it and checked MMB, it says the whole trip earns 1,000 Avios + 20 TP.

When I logged in a few hours later, it (probably recognized that I am BAEC gold) thus shows that the trip now earns 2,000 Avios + 20 TP.

Shortly after, I received the e-ticket number. Now when I logged in, it says 0 Avios + 0 TP.

Which is correct? I thought G class does indeed earn minimum 500 Avios one way (and double for gold, so 1,000 Avios one way in my case) + 10 TP?

Or does BA distinguish between "paid" G class and "redemption" G class?
