I'm thinking of taking 12 months off to travel.

If I book a reward ticket now leaving in September 2014. The farthest Aeroplan allows me to book a return flight would be around April 2015.

Is there anyway to push the return flight award back to September 2015? Would I just call to change the ticket sometime between September 2014 and April to a new date in September 2015?
