Agreed. It's a data point. As one of those who has the problem, it's a rather sucky data point for me, but that's what it is.
As an update, I sent in the dispute form (by fax, of all things) and was told it can take from 45-90 days to resolve and credit to a replacement card which has already been sent. The CSR said they may ask for proof of purchase (the receipt, which I still have) later on. They also said there's $0 liability fraud protection as long as I follow the proper notification and dispute channels, which I have.
Bottom line, my funds are tied up for a couple of months, but no losses. Although I'll breathe easier once I cash out the replacement card. Still not sure where the breach occurred (Evolve, issuer, Albertsons).
