I was curious about the expiration date problem for the AA Credit Card and ended up at this forum. I eventually decided to selectively makeup an expiration date in order to purchase a 30 day AC pass. I used the month my card was issued and added one year. ie received the card 03/14 entered 03/15 into the drop down boxes. Immediately received my AC confirmation.

I figured the worst it could say was declined and I would just call the 1800 number.

I will be interested to hear if anyone else has issues or success using my method.
