Stayed at Elara over the weekend and I think the hotel is at a really great location. The outside of the building is very attractive and easy to spot with giant words Hilton Grand Vacations on top. The parking is pretty packed on the 3rd Floor (near 3A where it is closest to Elara's lobby). But it is not bad taking the Miracle Mile mall parking entrance escalator back down to 3rd floor. It is a small parking lot so even if you park at the far end, it doesn't take too long to walk back unlike some of the bigger hotels.

Check in was nice and easy. Being a Diamond member only get you to a higher floor in the same room type. We got free WiFi codes but WiFi was really really weak on the whole floor (we had 2 rooms very far apart). It was so weak that my internet speed was crawling like 2G. I think they might have a router out on the floor and we were getting signal from another floor? I did try to call the front desk but it rings for 2 minutes and nobody picked up. It wasn't that important as I could use the hotspot on my android phone, but it may be important for other people. During the 3 days we were there, the internet never recovered and the hotel was full, so either no one complained or they just couldn't fix it.

The room view was really great. We had a direct view of the new tallest Ferris wheel in the world. There is also a peekaboo view of the Bellargio fountain. The rooms are really nice and much better than the average Vegas room. I am not sure I like the "black" toilet though...

The hotel staff are very friendly and I think we will definitely come back... hopefully they will fix the internet problem. The location is probably one of the best on the strip. A 2 minutes walk thru the shops and you are out facing Cosmopolitan hotel. No resort fee helps too.
