I was surprised as my call 24 hours early revealed no suite so I thought it was a lost in translation type of deal... lo and behold I get there to checkin at 3PM and I was escorted to my corner suite. It had Bvlgari bathroom amenities and even its own intercom/video camera. It was quite far from the elevator. Not the most spectacular suite I've ever been given but it was definitely a nice surprise. They definitely seemed to go out of their way to give me a 50nt plat a nice time in Kyoto. I give them thumbs up for the superb stay.
