977 DXB-IAD cancelled on the 14th for back-up power generator going out. 3h10m delay then cancelled. 2 windows for rebooking, took them almost 1h30m to finally issue my ticket over to QR, missed the first flight because the system didn't issue the ticket, just made a booking.

It was a mess.. Just an utter disgrace, people were yelling. At least 2 other passengers had problems requiring them to run back to UA to do it correctly.

No water or anything brought out for passengers waiting over 2 hours.
