Best Airside Restaurant in Calgary Airport
Okay,
I'll admit, my favorite meal in Calgary's airport was when a buddy's mother brought pizza for my entire Model UN group before we left for Ottawa. That being said, seeing as there are big limits on what you can bring through security, I'm going to limit the sphere of this discussion to airside restaurants in Calgary Airport.
I've always been one to go to Tim's, grab a donut and ice capp and then go to Starbucks for a lime refresher and a cake pop. That established, I often end up hungry on the plane, and if you're seated in economy, there aren't many options (I always fly WJA because I own stock in that company). Even if you want to fork out the money for a sandwich, by the time the cart gets to the back of the plane, the selection is awful or non-available.
Where do you go to fuel up (food wise) that it. I'm a non-drinker, so sitting at the bar doesn't really appeal to me. But I love hot wings, washed down with a pepsi or coke. I can't remember if the Kelsey's is before or after security. There are other options, but I'm interested in hearing, what's your favorite resto-pub or restaurant? Do you eat, not eat, eat on the plane, stuff yourself before you get to the airport?
CK.
