Standby tag on luggage?
Came back on the BA216 this morning. Just about made the check in at Dulles. Both Mrs C and I had been upgraded to F.

Got to Heathrow this morning and found an extra tag of STANDBY in large letters on 2 of the suitcases. What does this mean? Was there a risk of some of the luggage not arriving? The other suitcases were not tagged that way.
