I've been to Ushuaia and like most people it was the last stop on a cruise. Most people go there as a means of getting to places like South Georgia and Antarctica - but you are going in the dead of winter when visitor numbers are probably as low as the temperatures.

I can't say it was a pleasant town at all, and I didn't stay the night and was pleased to just spend a morning wandering around.
