There are many reasons why one should take a normative approach.

If you are ok/accept the current changes (when you really don't like them) and given this forum is for (brutal) honest feedback, one shouldn't settle for less in airing their contructive opinions.

Given that AC (and others) monitor this forum, if you want to show complacency, I bet the next round of enhancements will sound like this: ''Based on on our elite/altitude focus group (FT) we have taken their feedback (complacency) and made changes.....''

Or you can hold your peace and practice your sardine can position(s)

And yes I do think its realistic for AC to maintain basic comfort for its Altitude members.
