Customs/connecting question at ewr
We are flying from PTY (Panama City Panama) to LHR via EWR. Our arrival gate will be in the C Terminal ( GATE 120 something) and our departing gate to LHR will be C Terminal (GATE 120 something also.) Do we have to clear US customs, pick up our luggage and recheck it just after we exit customs? Or will it get checked straight to LHR from PTY via EWR? We won't spend any time in the US just the 3 hrs between connections. Thanks in advance for any input.
