I tend not to go out of my way to use a lounge but if you have over an hour of lounge time perhaps it might be worth it given the often crowded The Lounge at T3. Whilst the Amex lounge is nice as far as American lounges go (although it can be very busy too at times) I still wouldn't go out of your way unless you are very early.
