First my MacBook Pro died. Now my trusty old back-up Samsung netbook has a jumble screen, I think the monitor/screen is gone.

SquareTrade says they will cover repairs to the Samsung, as long as it is done by an authorized Samsung dealer. Problem is, there aren't any such critters in Turkey, so Samsung says I must go to a "professional" repair center that uses new parts, provides a complete invoice, etc etc.

Any suggestions? I'm near Macka/Besiktas ferry port, and I am also around the Galata area as well as Nisantasi. Istiklal in Taksim doesn't have anything.

Also, I have a MacBook Pro that has given me nothing but trouble since Day 1 and it is down and out for the 3rd time in less than 2 years. It's out of warranty and the new (and only) Apple store here is not the place I really want to go. Ideas?
