The seats are the same. It is the sCO J seat on both aircraft. The ps flight (JFK) has updated AVOD software, but the hardware is exactly the same.

While the ps flight has what UA describes as "premium" meal service (which includes an appetizer and ice-crap sundae for dessert) it's not necessarily any better than the food EWR-LAX. On both flights, food quality can range from abysmal to barely mediocre.
