UA 198 (LAX to PVG) delayed almost 8 hours yesterday. Reason not showing up on UA's web site now, but before the flight took off, the reason was crew delays. Can they honestly not plan their crew staffing appropriately to avoid delays like this?

The 787 NRT and PVG flights out of LAX are really unreliable. Not uncommon for 2 or more of those flights having 8+ hour delays (typically maint. related though).

Disappointing...
